Can I squeeze a blemish?
Leave your blemish alone. One of the worst things anyone can do is SQUEEZE a blemish. If you do, you will make the breakout worse A pimple is filled with bacteria and dead cells. Digging into the skin can drive these things deeper into the pore and cause more inflammation. HANDS off.
Do I need to use eye cream?
Leaving eye cream out of your daily skin care routine is the biggest beauty crime any woman can commit.
What about mascara?
The only two colors any woman should wear are black and brown- Red, blue , green are great if you are in the circus. Always use two coats. While the first one is still wet, apply a second layer.
Here's a tip: if you have dark lashes, hold the wand horizontally and gently wiggle the brush from the base of the lash to the tip. For light lashes hold the wand vertically and sweep it back and forth.
How long can I keep my mascara?
The life of any mascara is 3 months. If you have one longer than that throw it out. And pulling the wand back and forth and pumping it only adds to the possibility of bacteria forming. One sweep is all you need. AND NEVER NEVER add water to a thickened tube. Toss it ASAP.
At what age should I start my skincare regimen?
Skincare in your 20's is all about prevention. Starting a good sk in care routine at that stage of your life will prevent premature aging and damage. Staying out of the sun is the #1 best things ANY woman can do for her skin and using a daily sun screen with at LEAST an SPF 15 every day of the year, regardless of season or weather.
What tools do I need?
Great makeup requires the right tools. The best investment any one can make is a good set of basic brushes which should include at least a concealer, foundation, eye shadow, eye crease, blush and lip.
How long do products last?
Learn about the life cycle of products. Nothing lasts forever. How good is the moisturizer you bought a long time ago and never used. Look at the color, texture and them smell it. When it doubt, throw it out, no matter how much it costs.
